VNG2602
Gene VNG2602 in replicon chromosome
arsB is a chromosomally encoded gene investigated in relation to its involvement in arsenic resistance and the arsADRC operon due to its similarity to bacterial arsB. Deletion of the gene was found to have no effect on arsenite or arsenate resistance though it did have a slight effect on resistance to antimonite. See Wang et al. J. Bacteriol. 2004 May 186(10):3187-94.
