Comment	TbpD coordinates the expression of over 10% of genes in the Halobacterium NRC-1 genome together with TfbA, consistent with the role of these two transcription factors in gene regulation. Some of the regulated genes code for heat shock proteins and their deletion leads to a temperature sensitive phenotype.
